My sister wants to “buy” her way into Australia as they are property investors and have a couple other businesses which can be seen as assets. How much do they need in assests or in their bank account to skip the whole visa application process, if possible?

One Response to “How much money or investments do you need to get into Australia?”
Hi,
I dwell in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs where it’s all property investment
-How much you require depends on which door you choose to open. One example would be the laws for overseas investors and I understand for that you need AU$500 000.
Australia is an overgoverned place with complex taxation laws and it can stifle people like you.
Check out the government website for various entre rules.
You can’t buy your way into Australia because of strict anti-graft laws. You will have to fill out the paperwork I’m afraid. Hire someone to do this though ,as it is much red tape.
Also, it is better to invest in waterfront property in Sydney City region ( High returns ) Property in Queensland ( Low tax ) and Western Australia ( generating massive surpluses ) and yes of course New Zealand ( beautiful with no capital gains taxes and cheaper property )
